‘I am taking my Alexa rank to the next level with Blogchatter’. This post ‘Movies that Inspire’ is written for the #MyFriendAlexa challenge.
Life feels little incomplete without the right mix of compassion, family, courage, entertainment, and some inspiration. We (humans) need each of these elements to make life happy and enjoyable. The level of involvement may vary, but elements are common in almost everyone’s life.
When sometime back, Blogchatter announced My Friend Alexa 3.0, I was excited to join it again. This is my second season with the challenge, which aims to take your blog a notch higher. Last year, I wrote eight horror thriller stories, revolving around the murder mysteries in a fictitious place called Ravencliff.
When it comes to freestyle writing, fiction is my first love. I am in love with dark stories, thrillers, fantasy fiction, inspiring fictional stories. To name a few, Game of Thrones and Twilight Saga has a special place in my book closet. Bridget Jones Diary, Eat Pray Love, Devil Wears Prada, and many such wonderful books are part of my growing years. I am so glad that these amazing books inspired movie makers, and some all-time classic movies are made to stay forever with us.
This time for #MyFriendAlexa I am attempting something that I have never done before. A dear friend Ruchie a.k.a Wigglingpen and yours truly, are bringing you a Flick-Fling affair. An entertainment extravaganza based on movies that inspire and movies to look forward to.
Movies that Inspire –
We all need little inspiration in life, don’t we? At times when we start losing it all or feel down, a small pep-up talk or nice soothing music bring back the mojo. I love watching movies, who doesn’t? As the husband says – ‘You can like them or hate them, but cannot ignore them.’ Few flicks touch the cord so deep in heart or mind, that they bring a positive change in our behavior.
There are many such wonderful uplifting movies which inspire us in some way of the other. During the series of eight posts for #MyFriendAlexa will share one movie each post and a little ‘personal story‘ attached to it.
Currently, I am hooked on paranormal fiction tele-series Vampire Diaries. I wonder the imagination power of the writers, how beautifully and aptly they have created the ‘other world’.
Our mind is the most powerful thing in this whole wide world. We can create wonders, cast marvels, solve unknown mysteries, and achieve quantum. Its all up there in that tiny space called mind. It is on us if we want it to absorb positivity inside, or direct towards negative energy.
The next post will feature a movie that inspires me the most. Until then keep reading and happy blogging!
My Alexa rank as of 09/04/2018 is 395,553.

People often regard fictional books with no morals but I feel commendable of the authors who have the power to take to a different world with their writings. Is that easy? Absolutely no!
I am not a fan of twilight but Vampire diaries is my all time favorite
Hi Dipika,
One of the most inspiring movie that i have seen is Forrest Gump. It has a beautiful story-line and Tom Hanks was just too good in it. We should always try to be positive and we should keep moving forward.
