Following which, I rediscovered my love for Hindi TV shows with ZEE TV’s new show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega that is also streaming on ZEE5 for free, anytime and anywhere.

What do you expect from your daily Entertainment?

To be honest, for me it’s the best way to unwind. Hence, the daily shows should be light, entertaining, progressive, and comical. Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is exactly what I am talking about. A light-hearted story of a young, bubbly girl Guddan who is all set to become country’s youngest mother-in-law ever!

Premiered on 3rd September, Guddan Tumse…. has already picked up great reviews from all quarters. The concept behind the serial is to bring hope for viewers, of believing in themselves and achieve their dreams. As the name suggests, everyone around Guddan (the protagonist) has given-up hope due to the little accidents that keep happening around her. She is a young girl, who is little disorganized but very kind and emotional at heart. Her innocence and smart wit are something I could connect to instantly as a viewer.

The serial shows the unfeigned face of the society when naysayers keep pointing fingers at her fumbled state and even her own family members have given up on her future. For them, she is a lost cause, who is good for nothing. However, Guddan keeps smiling and fumbling through her life to get things straight.

It is these very accidents that eventually see her land into a rich, handsome, but lonely man’s life – Akshat. AJ (Akshat Jindal) is a man of few words, who marries Guddan in some odd circumstances making her a young mother-in-law to his three daughters-in-law.

A story with a twist – Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega

• Three Bahus (daughters-in-law) older to their own Saas (mom-in-law)
  
• All three wanted to get hold of Guddan for their own vested interests.
• Twist number three – Guddan eventually understands the conniving and plotting interests of her family members.

The show so far had been well conceptualized and the story is gripping, the fun element along with little drama makes it worth the watch. All the characters display multiple shades of emotions, that’s the exact thing we as viewers want to watch. Our protagonist, i.e. Guddan is a charming lady of 20 years, who is gullible to all treachery around her. That’s the USP of this series, keeping the core as innocent and relatable.

In the end, I am personally impressed by the interesting lineup of content that ZEE is coming up in recent times. Especially with their online platform ZEE5, we not only get to enjoy original shows and movies but also watch our favorite TV shows online, anytime and anywhere for free.
