Music is for LOVE – #writebravely

Music is the Language of Love!!

They say where words fail, Music keeps the conversation going.

Remember that personal ‘LOVE SONGS’ list, Varied genre – Solo, Duet, or Harmony.

When gloomy, sad, tired or low; Favourite numbers kept up the ghosts away.

Pushed the feet running every morning, Kept the midnight oil burning on.

But slowly that connection vanished; Words lost the meaning & melody became noise.

Lyrics bowed to emotionless tracks, Melody became a harsh cacophony.

I search, search, and search; To find a healthy solace… in tunes that sound so alien.

Comfort comes rarely, braving countless dissonant chartbusters.

All I wish if they write more to please Souls, than those funny numbers!!

  1. Music is the strongest form of magic. It’s amazing how it can affect our moods and emotions. While we have a great number of songs that are so impressive and there are a lot many which are simply bad. The good ones touch you and you dont mind listening to them on a loop. Few days ago, I got a video song on WhatsApp and I am listening to it all day long… you will laugh at the choice, but I am so loving this song…

    1. Oh I loved it Shilpa thanks a lot for sharing. Love this song – Heera ki tamanna hai!
Yes I may be old school but the lyrics, melodies I grew up listening to are class apart from today’s music. We like the peppy number, sing and jive but when it comes to answering back in Antakshri I still go back to – old is gold.
      Thank You

    1. Couldn’t agree more dear, remixes kill the soul of original. I just saw a teaser of Hawa Hawai in some upcoming movie, and again felt the tease of PLEASE Stop lifting old songs.
I am still a Gulzar Sahab, Kishore Kumar person.

    1. Right word Neha – Rant. Agree to it… Dil ‘ullu-ka-pattha hai’ now a days but when I hear ‘Dil Dhoondhta hai fir wahi fursat ke raat din’ my heart swells with emotions.

  2. I agree that music can change our mood or state of mind from bad to good from sad to romantic. I just love to listen soft and romantic and sometimes sad songs also. I made a playlist of all my favourite songs in pen drive and keeps on listening them when i want to refresh my mood. Music really have that magic or power.
