To the Moon and Back!

Vandana looked impeccable in a red and beige gown with golden peacock embroidery work from her favorite artisan. Adorning her signature heart-melting smile, she is a beauty to behold. Half a dozen pairs of eyes were stuck on her, cheering the moment and to be a part of this exceptional celebration.

Ronit was elated to be by her side, and as promised he wrote their vows without taking any help from google. He unfurled the paper with visibly shaking hands and started reading out the words everyone was waiting to hear.

“You are the one with whom I choose to spend my life.

Every moment that we have together, I will cherish it with my love and warmth.

I pledge to be by your side, till the Sun shines.

Today, tomorrow, and forever I will love you to the moon and back.”

Vandana laughed and said in her stirring voice, ‘To the OT (operation theatre) and Back, Husband’.

The entire room burst out laughing and clapping to preserve the moment forever. With this, Vandana nodded to the nurses in affirmation of her Brain Tumor surgery. On a stretcher, she bid adieu to her just wedded husband with a promise to love him forever.
