These are great extracurricular activities for kids. I have involved my kids in a majority of these at some point or other. At one point, my son was playing 5 sports at the same time. It was wild. LOL

Keeping the kids occupied and learn other things, including meeting friends are important. Aside from the activities you’ve mentioned, our kids attend CFA (lessons about fire disaster management) classes each week, and basic safety exercises. Our local council offers these lessons for free.
When my youngest daughter was still a grader, we used to enroll her to a dance class every summer. And it sure did a good job in giving her confidence to interact with other people

great list! both of my nieces love cooking, yoga, paining/sculpting and drama club. it makes them both happy. each of them does some sport as well but sport is sport, it’s different
These are great suggestions! It’s so important for kids to be involved in activities outside of family and school. My son played sports, played drums in school band, and was always involved in drawing.

I would love to sign my stepdaughter up for some after-school activities, but I know her mom won’t take her to them.
