” Joy is the simplest form of Gratitude“
– Karl Barth
I truly believe in this statement, when you feel the “JOY” you know up there someone has played their cards well and be thankful (feel the gratitude) that you have been blessed by this feeling of happiness/joy.
Running behind unseen goals and continuous urge to accomplish often leave us with no time to enjoy the smaller joys of life…. those humble/homely joys which have comforted us when we were in dire need of!!! Those must have’s, we cannot imagine our life without?? We underestimate these things, calling them habits or treat them as most granted because they are always there for us….
1. Technology/Gadgets
I am not lazy or laid back when it comes to work (either home or professional) even today I clean my kitchen mess & dirty dishes post supper before hitting the bed….but I just cannot imagine my life without TECHNOLOGY & all these super gadgets; starting from mobile phones to computers, from laptop to i-pods, from Kindle to Microwave, from Washing my dirty linen to storing food in refrigerator. All this has made life so easy and stress free, today if any of these super gadgets or tech fails functioning my brain just stops functioning. Thank You all you super gizmo gadgets, please keep on doing your work… you are my true BFFs.
2. Plastic Money
Oh!!! I am an avid crusader of #DigitalIndia movement kick started by our Honorable PM, Shree Narendra Modi Ji. I am too clumsy when it comes to paying by cash bills….it takes me ages to keep the bills back in my wallet without any folds, card payments & digital money has made life so easy. I am so ever Thankful to e-wallets and e-commerce, groceries, fashion, entertainment, utility bills, funds transfer for me everything is just swipe or click or punch…punch.
3. Music
I LOVE music, my day starts with listening to work-out playlist during morning walks and ends with late 80‘s or early 90‘s Hindi/English chart-busters. Life is much more romantic with music, I enjoy my evening coffee with music…it’s soulful. I thank to all those technicians and writers who do such awesome work to make our lives happier/merrier. By the way I love the lethal combination of Pancham da & Gulzaar, what about you?? please leave your choice in comment box.
4. Evergreen Indian Cuisine
Food; when it comes to food I am a true ‘desh-bhakt‘ (patriot) Indian food gives such gargantuan variety of choices. North, South, East, West different zones with different tastes, cuisine and heavenly food. I am Thankful to my humble plate of Rajma-Chawal, Chicken Curry- Steamed rice, Chapati-Veggie or simple Curd-Rice for that matter, to make my life tastier, healthier & happier.
5. Blogging
