The Secret Crush – Part 5

Natasha checked the inventory with staff when the studio’s front door announced an arrival. She directed her staff to attend to the client and went back to the stocks and numbers. A certain commotion pulled her attention, and she moderately looked up. Her eyes caught a glimpse of a young man silhouette, a tall figure with a pleasing personality and decently fashioned clothes. His persona oozes confidence and a certain charm, you don’t find these qualities in the younger generation nowadays.

She was informed about the client’s urgent request and needs, ‘Oh! He is the one whose sister’s attire we are providing?’ she enquired.

‘Yes, ma’am. He has been kind enough to provide us an advance and now look forward to discussing other details with you,’ she replied sheepishly.

Girls and their amusing hearts, Natasha wondered if it was so easy to swoon over anyone looking at the blushed cheeks of her staff members. She made her way towards the gentleman sitting by the guest’s area, his disposition was quite alluring she must admit. It was then she stumbled upon the carpet’s edge falling straight to the floor when two solid strong hands pulled her towards themselves.

The pull was masculine, an electric spark reverberated through her body. He smelled good, musk and wood with a citrus undertone. Surprised by the sensations she felt, that were alien to her notion. What am I, fourteen! She shrugged her head, in utter disdain.

Standing on her feet, she looked up to the man who saved her from embarrassment, before she could figure out anything else, she saw those light brown eyes, I know these eyes – her mind was running a marathon and she felt a swift speck on her wrist.

Taking a step back, she looked at the young man standing in front of her, handsome, enigmatic, and everything aristocratic nothing like the airport boy! What’s happening to her, fizzed by the confusion she flustered and asked him to sit.

Thanking him for saving her from the fall, she sat down on the opposite couch, facing him, and asked a few questions about his requirements.

His voice was very firm, stately, and rich. His brown eyes were fixed on her while lips kept moving in a way, she found captivating. Natasha was hard to impress, her staff could testify but this man has gripped her. She is feeling stuff that was buried deep inside her for decades, disturbed by these sudden vulnerable emotions.

Abruptly she got up from the sofa and asked her staff to take instructions from the customer. Back at her bookkeeping, she tried hard to concentrate but to no avail. He was an attractive extraordinaire, and she couldn’t figure out where they had met before.

It was after forty minutes, that the guy sauntered towards her to say goodbye. Stretching his hand forward, he looked into Natasha with a broad smile. ‘Thank you Ms. Sahni for accommodating my request at the very last minute.’ with that statement he caught her off-guard. How could this be possible, he is the airport guy! She knew it, those eyes – brown alluring eyes. Sadly, she never saw his whole face earlier, but now he is here as a customer. She was dumbfounded by this beautiful young man.
