When I talk about the ‘babycare‘ the first thing comes my mind is Gentle, Natural, Organic & Best in Class.

What is Childhood Obesity and Adult Life all about?

This book – Childhood Obesity & Adult Life by Dr. Amrita Basu addresses one of the most intricate parts in a parent’s life – obesity and it’s ill effects on the child’s life. The book makes an entry as her 5th published book in the series of health & nutrition.

Obesity is a serious medical condition, addressed by various health experts and doctors very frequently. Almost the entire world’s geography is suffering from unhealthy practices adding up to obesity and health conditions. The book is easy to understand and divided in 10 chapters for easy reading and keeps the momentum strong with the research based facts. Author is well versed with the eBook flow of writing and has kept the words and medical terms easy to understand for non-medico also.

Dr. Amrita connects the formation of obesity and wrong eating habits from the very beginning, in fact she addresses the practice of unwanted obesity begins from the womb. Her experience as a health expert and a parent makes it easier for readers to connect with the advises and tonality.

My Final Take on the Book

I was able to relate to this book instantly, as parents worrying over kids unhealthy eating habits is universal. However, author has given few interesting ideas of substituting healthy eating practices over unhealthy and make it into a habit.

Dr. Basu also shares easy to comprehend diet plan charts to convert into action right after reading this book. Very handy read and easy to understand. A must recommend downloading.
