Long queues….Bye Bye!! #MondayMommyMoments

Shopping is happiness,

Shopping is divine,

Shopping is the best stress buster,

Let’s go SHOPPING! is my all time favorite line…

It gave me immense pleasure (yes! Pleasure) when I used to planned my shopping list; Shoes, Dresses, Accessories, Cosmetics, Bags, Perfumes and more…. Oh! one can never get bored. Go alone or with a buddy, retail therapy is always rejuvenating!! It never bothered going once or twice in a week, when I was a free bird… but with a hatch-ling on your back Shopping becomes a nightmare!!!!

Then shopping became just a monthly affair, gone were my days of upliftment, now it’s just despair. All I searched were diapers, baby creams, sanitizers and rash powders. Long trial queues got agonising, billers made me angriest to the core. Trips to the mall were with the strollers, extra baggage of hot water and milk powder 😉😉

Cranky baby on the roll funny, weird unasked advises from one & all, shopping got scarce and bore. How then one friend told me to check this online Sale, since then, shopping got better, prettier, easier and safer …. I got hooked totally on e-commerce, Android made it easier all the more. I can shop now from my phone, bye bye long queues once for all….

My all time favourite online shopping apps are:

1. Amazon

This American gaint took me by surprise with the array of options it provides. From latest fashion to humble groceries, from all time classic books to latest games it has all under on roof… errr… app. Speedy fast delivery, and replacement policy makes shopping experience all the more exciting. I prefer Amazon over any other e-com site, as it delivers on time and products ordered virtually comes to you without unpleasant surprises. Shoes, Fashion, Toiletries, Perfumes, Fragrance, Utilities I have tried it all.
2. Myntra:

With the personalized appeal and an international collection in Fashion Myntra fulfills desire to look trendy and your best. It has almost all possible global brands of fashion in clothing, accessories, lingerie, footwear, etc. Taking cues from your likes, Myntra sends you latest options to choose from. Highly recommended if you love FASHION at it’s best. Easy on pockets with endless discounts & sale.

3. Flipkart

With the local Indian appeal, this online portal provides the widest range of products under any given category. The best feature is it’s reach/network, from the biggest to the smallest town, Flipkart has it’s presence across country. When my Mother wanted a Knee Heat Pad, in western Uttar Pradesh’s small Industrial town; I ordered it through Flipkart. Reached her in good 12 days, but happy that now she has it. Not recommended if your need is urgent 😉

4. Firstcry:

As a mother you can’t shy away from Firstcry, amazing collection of Baby & Kids products. Lovely dresses, pretty shoes, tender care it has all. Rattlers to feeders, strollers to car seats, Firstcry is amazing when you have a child at home…. that too if she’s a super demanding daughter 😎 fast delivery with good quality products, this one is true champ.

5. Shopclues.com

I bumped onto this site through Facebook page, was shocked to see the whole universe was on sale. Immediately downloaded this app, and check the rates here before making any purchase. Heavy discounts and large variety of products: electronics, gadgets, decals, sport goods, jewellery and all.

These are my 5 best, eager to read yours. Thanks for reading.

  1. I enjoyed reading this post. The initial lines made me smile and it seemed like I am reading a poetry. While I never liked shopping (you know from my blog post), I admit things became super fussy when son came along. I was nodding, as I read, with the bulky pram/strollers being carried in the malls, the biggest hassle. And then it was the baby’s feeding time, diaper changing needs, crankiness – the list was endless. The sites like First Cry and a few more were like a boon. Today, I wouldn’t go any further than Amazon for the lowest prices it gives.

  2. I have tried shopclues long time back and got little confused with so much on sale and so much variety. All others are my favourite too. Thanks for linking up with #MondayMommyMoments Dipika
